Web Based Rule Setting

There are 2 aspects to the parental supervision & control service;

  1. Parents Control Centre and
  2. Reporting and Enforcement software

Rule Setting

You can install the Reporting and Enforcement (client) software on up to 3 computers / laptops. These clients then enforce the Parental rules which you set in your Parental Control Centre.

Some of the ‘rules’ that Netintelligence will follow, are predetermined by us - what to do when a virus is detected for example - but most of them are set by you, via your online Control Centre.

The software client which is installed on each PC/Laptop is programmed to ‘talk’ to our databases at least once every 60 seconds when the computer is online.

At each such contact time, any changes to the rules which you have saved will then become enforced on the PC/laptop, even if it is upstairs in a child’s bedroom or in a university campus.

This unique process ensures that you are constantly protected - in real time!

You can access your control panel from any internet connected computer. Once the correct username and authentication password are entered, you will be presented with your secure personal control panel report page. From this page you can:

View the report summary of the 1st computer Main Section of the page
Switch between computers Top of the Page
Drill down into greater detail on any report Buttons in Green Circle
Make changes to your parental Control Settings Buttons in the Red Circle
